We had a great turnout for our High School Family Wellness Night!  There were over 70 people in attendance for a great evening of fun activities.

Families were able to make a "Joy in a Jar" cookie mix with Mrs. Foster, plant succulents or veggies with Mrs. Joyslin, bead a necklace with Mr. Ellison, and learn meditation techniques with Jessica Donaldson from the ROE.   Younger children played outside with the Mobile Playground provided by Galesburg Parks and Recreation.

Stephanie Woodard, Family Engagement Specialist at Galesburg High School said that everyone enjoyed the activities at the event and is grateful for all those in attendance, "I am so grateful for our staff and student volunteers who made this event possible.  Our families were able to leave with some goodies to enjoy beyond our event.

The committee who planned the night with Mrs. Woodard included Athletic Secretary, Sara Gray, along with Heather Grubb and Wendy Huft who are both teachers at Galesburg Junior Senior High School.
